  1. I personally think that social media should not be part of jobs and employment.

  2. I think it's pretty silly. Our personal lives on media networks should not have to be displayed to our employer. If we make our social media pages private, that's how it should be; private.

  3. After reading this article, it makes me happy that I don't really post things on Facebook. It would be terrible if a future employer found something on my Facebook that I had posted when I was angry at somebody and that would make me very uncomfortable.

  5. It makes sense why people would check facebook for background information, but I find it could become a bother to many. I know many people who wouldn't be able to get a job now due to this. I personally find it unethical to seep into the personal lives of people in order to hire them, what business is theirs to consider the fact that they drink for a job?

  6. This article made me realize how what you do and say online can affect your success later in life. The article made a good point on how you shouldn't say anything you wouldn't want published in the newspaper, because so many people are able to see it. -Quinn P.

  8. When you post on your online profile, you rarely think it will affect you. It may affect others, but not you. But later in life, it could come back to haunt you. Looking at someones online profile is a good way for companies to find out the truth you are trying to keep from them so you have no reason not to hire you. You have to be careful what you post because it could be the deciding point or whether or not you get hired.

It is a little scary to think about people you don't know looking at your Facebook wall and judging you based only on what is there. But it makes sense. If I was a company I would want to know everything I could about potential employees, and especially whether or not they are smart about what they put on the web. If I saw a whole bunch of hateful comments or rants about how much their life sucks I would consider them to be a pretty negative person who I wouldn't want to work with.

  14. After reading this article I think that jobs shouldn't have anything to do with things like this because they don't know what people have been through and maybe they post it on Facebook to get an advise of it or get there anger out but in the other hand you have to manage what you put on it.

  15. after reading this, i think that its good that i normally don't post things up on Facebook, it would suck if i wouldn't be able to get a job because of what i post. but on the other i think that job managers shouldn't be looking at my Facebook just so that they can decide in giving me a job or not.

  17. It is very important to keep the feelings you may have to yourself because if you post it online it can cause problems with other people. The bad things you post online will affect you later on like in interviews for jobs. I think that people should learn more about these kinds of things and take it more seriously. The things they post can really embarrass, upset, anger, and humiliate others online. Think twice before posting and how other will take it.

  18. I think that the people that have an account in any social network should really think about what they put in their profile pages. If they post embarrassing things or in inappropriate things then it would really affect the way that people would look at them. This way if you apply for a job and the employer wants to check your Facebook, he or she might see the things that you do not want them to see.-Mauricio P

  19. In my opinion about this article is that it is very important to know what kind of person you are working whit or hire. But in the other hand we should have a little more privacy in social media whit family or friends it just depends. We still need to be careful what to put in the world in the internet and be aware eventually.

  20. I think people who post in his account they should think what
to put in their blog like the picture do not put photo in a way because all the person will see that and if want to get a
job they will the photo and not give the job
